The four port telephone host module is used to
distribute a telephone line to up to 4 room outlet
points. After insertion into a spare slot in the
cabinet, the rear mounted RJ45 jack or IDC block
can be used to connect to an incoming telephone
service.
The four RJ45 sockets on the front of the module
can then be used to 'patch' the phone service to
any room outlet point using a suitable patch
lead.
Multiple modules can be connected to extend the
number of ports on which an incoming telephone
service is presented.
This module is capable of distributing a phone
service carrying broadband for connection of ADSL
equipment in a room.
